Returns policy

 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase or change your mind please follow our returns procedure.  

 

Please note the following items are exempt from our returns policy and are not refundable:

  • Earrings are non refundable for hygiene reasons 

  • Commissioned illustrations 

 

If you would like to return an item please contact us at thelaughingseagullart@gmail.com quoting your order reference number for instructions on how to return your item.  If you consider your order to have been damaged in transit please attach photographs of your item showing all damage to packaging and the item that you wish to return. 

 

Items (other than those specifically excluded from our returns policy) must be returned to us in the same condition in which they were received and in their original packaging.  Returns must be with us within 14 days of receipt of your order.  You will be responsible for the cost of returning your item.  Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

If you are returning an item the value of which is in excess of £50 it is recommended that you use a shipping service that offers tracking and insurance.  We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and therefore any item that does not reach us remains the responsibility of the customer.   

 

Once we receive your item it will be checked and an email sent to confirm whether a refund has been authorised.  Refunds will be applied to the original method of payment (less any delivery charges).

 

Any item that appears worn or used will not be refunded.
